Fix a few of the broken rules, like the Barrage rules, and maybe add a little more balance to some of the units. The Martian drone movement pretty much makes them useless unless they can match the speed of the tripod, at least that is what we have found in our games, or extend the range. I would like to see more Martian infantry be it drones or infantry types.
There are already too many unit types so I do not think any more are needed for the factions that exist.
More factions would be a nice addition.
Most importantly I think more generic Scenarios.
Better models, some of them the quality of the casting have been not so good.
Listening to the first book now, I am really enjoying it so far! Its always nice to be listening to an audio book that matches what I am building and painting at the time. Give me more incentive to spend more time at the painting bench too!
Great news, Thank you!
Any idea when the audio book version will come out? I really enjoy listening to audio books when I paint. Book 1 is next on my list, and I have been saving it for when I do the next batch of AQMF that I am planning on getting done over the holidays.
I have been working on a consolidated stat sheet that includes all the units for the US, BEF and Martians. I need to double check everything, and clean it up, and will post a PDF when it’s complete.
Nice meeting you and the crew there today, looking forward to the AQMF game tomorrow morning. The only bad thing is I now am further behind on getting all my AQMF stuff painted with all the new stuff I purchased today. Such is the life of a gamer!
I will check it out!. I googled for it but did not find anything. Thanks much for the reply!
I would be thrilled if there was a Battle Scribe data file available. There seems to be one for Army Builder, which I own, But I can not use that on my tablet or phone.
So I ordered a starter box from the on-line store. And instead of the doughboys it included USMC. Did anyone else receive the USMC in their starter box. I was kind of disappointed. I will probably buy another starter set to expand what I have, but would rather have the doughboys than more marines.
I am in Belleville, IL, Just started building my AQMF forces.
You should have not problem painting over the lacquer. Just make sure its good and dry first. Give a full 24 hours or so. If you used Gloss paint I would hit it with some Testers Dull Coat (Also a lacquer) first as it will make it easier to to get good coverage and the paint to stick.
I am planning to go to CommandCon, There is a AQMF Game on the agenda for Saturday too, I would like to get into.
I like the tower, It makes it look more like that it was designed for shooting at something higher, which it was.
I agree that external tanks are not the best, but it adds to the flavor of the game that these are desperate times, and mankind it trying different things to combat the invaders. And this was the early 1900’s we (the humans) were still learning.
The picture of the trailer in the book looks really good with the tank, and it fits in the style with the other tanks with trailers. Why not redesign the trailer to be an easier cast, but I would not do away with it.
