I would like to see an Imperial German force created, and so humans vs. humans scenarios might be fought against the dastardly Huns.
My friends have always liked the rule system, and have remarked it would be great just as a Weird, pre-WWI gaming platform. So, we would enjoy seeing an adjunct to a 2nd Edition enabling force opposition akin to US/British vs. Germans. (this in addition to the current Martian foe)

Here’s a few pics for my up-coming scenario that I’ll be putting on at DieCon – “On the Perimeter – The Pecos Pocket”.

    Multi-barrel options will be nice!
Nice detail on this – are the support arms shown, and the hull sides to be molded together as a single piece?

Probably too late for this, but will it be possible to build this in sections, that can be disassembled? I’d imagine being able to break it down into sections for transport and storage would be a useful feature.

JD, great round-up post on the evolution of warfare ala AQMF!
I like your idea of weapon service dates – this is something I’ve tried to nail down in imaginings for scenarios too, and when wondering if a particular Steamer type was available in a certain year (and trying to validate using the available timeline from the rulebook and via Scott Washburn’s books – and sometimes just left to speculation).
Along with the evolution of weaponry and counter measures, is the effects of terrain on their tactical employment too. My little stab into AQMF is going to feature scenarios within the American SW theater, and hopefully “N. Africa” or Mesopotamia if these are viable within the context of the new expansion rules. I’d even hope that tensions between the world powers might support the basis for battles between the human forces too, and then this N. Africa adjunct to my collection could occur under the auspices of the Siege of Europa future (not required of course, and I could to do on my own, but just nice if this human vs. human – “between the Powers” conflict might be officially validated). If so, then the rich history and basis coming from other military operations can also be mined for scenario creation. And…..

Thanks to you too Joe! You’ll see these in action at DieCon in June.

    Craig, thanks for the compliments!

I want to get my platoon of Mk IIs finished, and then I’ll have some pics for them here too. Shooting for completing a tank company of the 3 platoons, one each of MkIIs, MkIIbs, and MkIIIs. Also trying not to get diverted with all the cool extras I’d like to build, because I’m working towards finishing the immediate forces needed to complete a scenario first.
Actually, over all the years of collecting historical minis, I wish I had focused more on building for scenarios, rather than first trying to amass up a collection to do “the most” games with (and then spending most my time just painting instead).

Joe, extra stowage bits might be useful too (bags, boxes, tools) if you have extra room on the sprues/packs.

    Joe,
Are these going to be exact duplicate models of such German WWI weaponry, or “inspired by” renderings?
