There are no Edison wire rules in the rule books. I (Terrance) and others have posted some on the fan forum.

My overseer is the same. It is going to take hours to get it cleaned up and ready to assemble.

My ironclad looked like it will not need a lot of cleanup. I got it before AD went under. So I don’t know if that means anything for the current production. I have seen an assembled iron clad and it looks good. Didn’t talk with the owner about how difficult it was to assemble.

I have not built my overseer yet, but holding the parts together it looks like it is 11 or 12 inches high and the legs would fit in a 12 inch diameter circle. I have a land ironclad but cannot comment on size because it is buried in a box right now. I need to get started on it soon.

The Overseer does not have a base. Trying to hold the parts together it looks like the it would need a 12 inch diameter base.

By the way be fore warned that if my model is typical it is going to be a great deal of work to make the parts fit. There are huge blobs of flash left from casting on the head pieces that will have to be cut and sanded away.

I use glass packing boxes from UHaul for tripods. I have pictures posted on the fan forum. I have an overseer but have not opened the box. Have to do that soon and I’ll let you know the base size.

I have a set of markers from Litko that I use for several games, including All Quiet. In the past I have made my own markers from cardboard counters. Not very high tec or pretty compared to the laser cut stuff but it works. But I agree it would be nice if IGs came up with a set.

Check out the fan forum at http://aqmf.freeforums.net. A lot of us post to both fora but it seems like a lot of the after action reports are posted on the fan forum.

If anyone is interested in seeing what I am doing with the constructors, I am posting it on the fan forum. I am able to post pictures there.

The pic I tried to load is not showing up. I clicked the “upload Images” button, picked the file and hit “Submit”. It looked like it was uploading the file but I don’t see anything. Can anyone give me advice?

Here are the pieces of the Black Hat machine. I am going to add an “eye” to make them fit better with the AD/IG tripods.

I have played close to a couple dozen games of AQ and find it pretty well balanced. Saying that we have had a couple of routs against both sides. Play style can make a big difference. Like any game it may take a few plays to figure out how to best use the army. I think low point battles favor the Martians (less than about 800 points) but that may just be my experience. Army composition can also make a difference. Infantry heavy armies have a tougher time.

I’d be interested in hearing from others, but that has been my experience.

I am about to start building some using Black Hat Miniatures “cephalod handling machine”. They have 6 legs. I’ll post some pictures of progress.

All of the drones I have are metal. That includes regular drones, sniper drones, scorpion drones, shock drones, and hover drones. Traps are metal. As are Human infantry, field artillery and heavy artillery. Also rough riders. I think that is the list. Someone else might recall something I missed.
